Joel Reynolds
Joel Reynolds (born 5 June 1984) is a former Australian rules footballer. Reynolds is the grandson of Bomber legend Dick Reynolds Richard Sylvannus Reynolds (20 June 1915 – 2 September 2002) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Reynolds is one of four footballers to have won three Brownlow .... At the conclusion of the 2006 season, and after five seasons and just 38 games for the Bombers, Reynolds was delisted and was picked up by Geelong in the pre-season rookie draft. He did not play in 2007 due to a bad knee injury and was eventually delisted at the end of the 2007 season. He also played in the EDFL 2011 Grand Final with the Strathmore Football CLub where they beat Oak Park to come out victorious. Victorian Country Football League
AFL Victoria Country is an Australian rules football governing body with jurisdiction over the state of Victoria outside metropolitan Melbourne on behalf of AFL Victoria. As well as administering and promoting the code in the regions, it often arbitrates disputes in areas such as player clearances and club movements between country leagues, and may also be called upon as a higher authority of appeal. The organisation was formed as a result of a merger between Victorian Country Football League (VCFL) and AFL Victoria in November 2012. Geelong Falcons
The Geelong Falcons is a youth Australian rules football representative club in the NAB League, the Victorian statewide under-18s competition, Victoria, Australia. The club takes in talented junior players from the Geelong, Colac and Warrnambool regions in order to prepare them for AFL selection. There is an under-15 V-Line cup side and an under-16 side, but the club's main focus is its under-18 side, who play a longer season. In 2007, Jimmy Bartel became the first ex-Falcon to win the AFL Brownlow Medal, for the league's best and fairest player, while Jonathan Brown became the first ex-Falcon to win the Coleman Medal for the most goals in the season. Gary Ablett Jnr also became the first ex-Falcon to win the Leigh Matthews Trophy, for being voted the Most Valuable Player by the AFL Players Association.
