Joel Lanning
Joel Lanning (born November 18, 1994) is a former American football linebacker who is currently a graduate assistant for the Iowa State Cyclones football team. He played college football at Iowa State University. He was selected as a first-team All-American and first-team All-Big 12 in 2017. Early years Lanning was a multi-sport star at Ankeny High School earning all-state selections in football, baseball, and wrestling. In 2012 he won state championships in both baseball and football his senior seasons. As the three-year starting quarterback at Ankeny, Lanning had 7,642 all-purpose career yards. Recruiting After high school Lanning was very lightly recruited for football. His only two offers were Nebraska and Iowa State; he ultimately picked the Cyclones. Allen Jamel Lazard (born December 11, 1995) is an American football wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Iowa State University and was originally signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2018. The 2017 Oklahoma Sooners football team represented the University of Oklahoma in the 2017 NCAA Division I FBS football season, the 123rd season of Sooner football. Wildcat Formation
Wildcat formation describes a formation for the offense in football in which the ball is snapped not to the quarterback but directly to a player of another position lined up at the quarterback position. (In most systems, this is a running back, but some playbooks have the wide receiver, fullback, or tight end taking the snap.) The Wildcat features an unbalanced offensive line and looks to the defense like a sweep behind zone blocking. A player moves across the formation prior to the snap. However, once this player crosses the position of the running back who will receive the snap, the play develops unlike the sweep. The Wildcat is a gambit rather than an overall offensive philosophy. It can be a part of many offenses. Matthew Allen Campbell (born November 29, 1979) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach at Iowa State University, a position he has held since the 2016 season. Campbell was head football coach at the University of Toledo from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, Campbell had been an assistant at Toledo, Bowling Green, and Mount Union. Campbell grew up in Ohio and briefly attended the University of Pittsburgh before transferring to Mount Union, where he played defensive line. Playing career Campbell was born in Massillon, Ohio.
