Joel Kuhnel
Joel Kenneth Kuhnel (born February 19, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Cincinnati Reds and Houston Astros. Amateur career Kuhnel attended Sunrise Mountain High School in Peoria, Arizona. Undrafted in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, he enrolled at Central Arizona College where he played college baseball. As a freshman at Central Arizona College, Central Arizona in 2014, Kuhnel pitched to a 2–0 record with a 1.62 ERA over 39 innings. After the season, he transferred to the University of Texas at Arlington. In 2015, his first season with UTA, he went 4–4 with a 3.55 ERA over 16 games (12 starts). As a junior in 2016, Kuhnel compiled a 6–4 record with a 2.99 ERA across 12 starts. After the year, he was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the 11th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft. Dayton Dragons
The Dayton Dragons are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. They are located in Dayton, Ohio, and play their home games at Day Air Ballpark, formerly known as Fifth Third Field. In 2011, they broke the record for most consecutive sellouts by a professional sports team, selling out their 815th consecutive game, breaking the record formerly held by the Portland Trail Blazers. 2023 Cincinnati Reds Season
The 2023 Cincinnati Reds season was the 154th season for the franchise in Major League Baseball, and their 21st at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. With a win over the Cleveland Guardians on August 16, the Reds improved on their 62–100 record from the 2022 season. From June 10 to June 23, the Reds had a 12 game winning streak, their third best in franchise history, and second best of the season, only behind the Tampa Bay Rays 13 game winning streak. Daniel Francisco Duarte (born December 4, 1996) is a Mexican professional baseball relief pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds organization. He was signed by the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in 2013. Duarte is listed at and and bats and throws right handed. Designated for assignment (DFA) is a contractual term used in Major League Baseball (MLB). A player who is designated for assignment is immediately removed from the team's 40-man roster, after which the team must within seven days, return the player to the 40-man roster, place the player on waivers, trade the player, release the player, or outright the player from the 40-man roster into Minor League Baseball. Governance MLB player transactions are governed by ''The Official Professional Baseball Rules Book''. The Louisville Bats are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A (baseball), Triple-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. The Chattanooga Lookouts are a Minor League Baseball team of the Southern League and the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Florida State League
The Florida State League (FSL) is a Minor League Baseball league based in the state of Florida. Having been classified at various levels throughout its existence, it operated at Class A-Advanced from 1990 until its demotion to Single-A following Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. The league temporarily operated for the 2021 season as the Low-A Southeast before reassuming its original moniker in 2022.
