Joe Walsh (footballer, Born 2002)
Joe Anthony Walsh (born 1 April 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for EFL Championship club Queens Park Rangers. Career Gillingham From Medway, Kent, Walsh joined local club Gillingham aged 11, signing a scholarship with the club in late 2017. In May 2019, Walsh signed a professional contract with Gillingham. On 3 September 2019, Walsh made his debut for Gillingham in a 3–2 EFL Trophy defeat against Colchester United. He made his English Football League debut on 27 October 2020 when he came on as a substitute for the injured Jack Bonham against Ipswich Town. Queens Park Rangers On 28 January 2021, Walsh joined Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee, signing a three and a half-year contract that would initially see him join up with the club's under-23s team. Medway
Medway is a unitary authority district and conurbation in Kent, South East England. It had a population of 278,016 in 2019. The unitary authority was formed in 1998 when Rochester-upon-Medway amalgamated with the Borough of Gillingham to form Medway Towns. It is now a unitary authority area run by Medway Council, independent of Kent County Council but still part of the ceremonial county of Kent. 2022–23 National League
The 2022–23 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, will be the eighth season under English football's new title of the National League, the twentieth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-fourth season overall. This season sees the expansion of North and South divisions to 24 teams apiece, a planned increase which was originally scheduled in 2019 to occur ahead of the 2021–22 season. However, after the curtailment and voidance of the 2020–21 season for both North and South, promotion and relegation were postponed. EFL League One
The English Football League One (often referred to as League One for short or Sky Bet League One for sponsorship purposes, and known as the Football League One from 2004 until 2016) is the second-highest division of the English Football League and the third tier overall in the entire English football league system. League One debuted for the 2004–05 in English football, 2004–05 season. FA Cup
The Football Association Challenge Cup, more commonly known as the FA Cup, is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic English football. First played during the 1871–72 season, it is the oldest national football competition in the world. It is organised by and named after The Football Association (The FA). Since 2015, it has been known as The Emirates FA Cup after its headline sponsor. A concurrent women's tournament is also held, the Women's FA Cup.
