Joe Serafini
Joseph Ronald Serafini (born January 22, 1998) is an American actor. He plays Seb Matthew-Smith in the Disney+ series '' High School Musical: The Musical: The Series''. Early life and education Serafini is from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. He was a longtime performer at the Pittsburgh CLO Academy (Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera), where he performed with their "Mini Stars" touring vocal group and earned a Gene Kelly Award scholarship. He graduated from Bethel Park High School in 2016. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020. Career During his time with the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (CLO), he performed in several productions including ''A Musical Christmas Carol'', '' Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up'', '' Oliver!'', ''Les Misérables'', ''The Sound of Music'', ''Into the Woods'', and ''Anything Goes''. Bethel Park, officially the Municipality of Bethel Park, is a borough with home rule status in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, located approximately southwest of Pittsburgh. The population was 33,577 as of the 2020 census. History The area that is now Bethel Park was originally settled around 1800 and was first established as Bethel Township, in 1886. It was named after Bethel (meeting house). The New Hazlett Theater is the primary occupant of the Carnegie Free Library of Allegheny in the Allegheny Center part of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Benedum Center for the Performing Arts (formerly the Stanley Theatre) is a theater and concert hall located at 237 7th Street in the Cultural District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Byham Theater
The Byham Theater is a landmark building at 101 Sixth Street in the Cultural District of Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Originally built in 1903 as The Gayety Theater, the former vaudeville house was renovated and reopened as The Byham Theater in 1990. Built in 1903 and opened Halloween night 1904, the then-named Gayety Theater was stage and vaudeville house, and it featured stars such as Ethel Barrymore, Gertrude Lawrence, and Helen Hayes. It was renamed The Fulton in the 1930s when it became a full-time movie theater.
