Johannes Seerane (born 30 March 1987) is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with Rustenburg Impala. His regular position is winger. Career Youth and Varsity rugby He played for at the 2005 Under-18 Craven Week. He then moved to Potchefstroom, where he represented the in the Under-21 Provincial Championship competition in 2007 and 2008. He also played for in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Varsity Cup competitions. Leopards He made his first class debut for the in the 2011 Vodacom Cup competition, starting in their match against and also scoring a 60th minute try. Acornhoek
Acornhoek, commonly known as Khenhuk, is a semi-rural town situated in the north eastern areas of Bushbuckridge in the Mpumalanga province of South Africa. Established in the late 1950s, the town is located about 38 km south-east of Hoedspruit in Limpopo and 165 km north-west of Komatipoort near the border post of Mozambique and eSwatini. The 2012 Currie Cup First Division was contested from 30 June to 13 October 2012. The tournament (also known as the Absa Currie Cup First Division for sponsorship reasons) is the second tier of South Africa's premier domestic rugby union competition, featuring teams representing either entire provinces or substantial regions within provinces. The South Africa President's XV is a South African rugby union team that represented South Africa in the 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup. They won the tournament, winning all three matches, but did not take part in the 2014 edition. Previously, an Emerging Springboks team competed in the 2007 and 2008 IRB Nations Cup competitions. The Gold Cup is the premier rugby union club competition in South Africa for non-university teams. The competition was launched as the SARU Community Cup in 2013 to replace the existing SARU National Club Championships and renamed to the Gold Cup for 2016, when teams from Namibia and Zimbabwe were also included in the competition. History On 20 September 2012, the South African Rugby Union announced the launch of the SARU Community Cup to replace the National Club Championships. 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup
The 2013 IRB Tbilisi Cup was the inaugural edition of this international rugby union tournament, created by the International Rugby Board and was played from 7 to 16 June 2013 at the Avchala Stadium in Tbilisi. The hosts Georgia were joined by Uruguay, who regularly take part in the IRB Nations Cup, and two newly founded teams: Emerging Ireland, who were made up of young Irish players that didn't get selected for the Lions tour to Australia or the national side's tour to North America, and a South Africa President's XV, composed of Currie Cup players. South Africa President's XV won the inaugural tournament after winning all three of their games.
