Joe Newhouse
Joe Newhouse (born September 22, 1977) is an American politician who has served in the Oklahoma Senate from the 25th district since 2016. Early life and career Newhouse was born in Miles City, Montana and graduated from Broken Arrow High School, Oklahoma. He completed his senior year as an exchange student in Germany*1 at the CJD Christophorusschule Gymnasium Versmold. He graduated from Georgetown University with a major in International Economics and earned a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University (Los Angeles, CA). As a Navy pilot he flew combat in the Iraq War in the EA-6B Prowler from the USS Nimitz carrier and was awarded the Air Medal. He taught air to air combat in the T-45C at Navy Flight School in Pensacola, Florida and was named Instructor Pilot of the Year. He promoted to the rank of Commander in the Navy Reserves in 2016. Mike Mazzei is a former Republican United States politician from the U.S. state of Oklahoma and was an assistant majority floor leader of the Oklahoma Senate. Miles City, Montana
Miles City ( chy, Ma'xemâhoévé'ho'eno) is a city in and the county seat of Custer County, Montana, United States. The population was 8,354 at the 2020 census. History After the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876, the U.S. Army created forts in eastern Montana, including one where the north-flowing Tongue River flowed into the east-flowing Yellowstone River. Broken Arrow High School
Broken Arrow Senior High School is the highest level of secondary education in the Broken Arrow Public Schools system, for students in tenth through twelfth grade. Combined with the Broken Arrow Freshman Academy, it is the largest high school in the state of Oklahoma. Its current principal is Crystal Barber. History The first high-school level education in Broken Arrow happened in fall 1910 with the formation of Broken Arrow Public Schools. A new building was built in 1952, and the current campus opened in its original format in 1982. A new football stadium was opened in 2000, replacing one used since 1930. An approved $295 million bond in 2009 resulted in the building of a new indoor training facility for the football team, as well as other groups receiving upgrades to their facilities.
