Joe Morgan (American Football)
Joseph Morgan (born March 23, 1988) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Illinois and Walsh and was signed by the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Professional career New Orleans Saints Morgan was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New Orleans Saints on July 27, 2011. Little known at the beginning of training camp, he became a focus of attention after he scored touchdowns in consecutive preseason games, and was considered a strong candidate to make the regular season roster until he suffered a knee injury. He was placed on injured reserve on September 3, 2011. In 2012 Morgan made the roster as a backup receiver. During the first three games of the season, he had only one catch and little impact, but in the Saints' fourth game, at Green Bay, he caught an 80-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees for his first NFL touchdown and the team's longest play of the season so far. The NFL Scouting Combine is a week-long showcase occurring every February at Lucas Oil Stadium (and formerly at the RCA Dome until 2008) in Indianapolis, where college football players perform physical and mental tests in front of National Football League coaches, general managers, and scouts. Cody Grimm
Cody James Grimm (born February 26, 1987) is an American football coach and former safety who is the safeties coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Grimm played college football at Virginia Tech and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played for three seasons in the NFL with the Buccaneers. Early life Grimm attended and played high school football at Oakton High School in Vienna, Virginia, where he lettered three times. Eric Andrew Wright (born July 24, 1985) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at USC and UNLV. Wright also played for the Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and San Francisco 49ers. College career USC Trojans Wright attended USC for two years before attending UNLV. After being redshirted his first year, he was a starter his second year, and started in the 2005 Orange Bowl, where he recorded four tackles and an interception. Mark Barron (born October 27, 1989) is an American football linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at Alabama, where he was twice recognized as an All-American, and was a member of two BCS National Championship teams. He was drafted as a strong safety by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, where he played for two and a half seasons before being traded to the St. Louis Rams in 2014, where he moved to the linebacker position. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured.
