Joe McKeehen
Joseph McKeehen (born June 28, 1991) is an American professional poker player and mind sports player from North Wales, Pennsylvania. In 2015 he won the World Series of Poker Main Event, earning $7,683,346. McKeehen attended high school at La Salle College High School, then graduated from Arcadia University with a math degree. In 2010 he won the world championship in the board game Risk, the Risk Annual Classic. McKeehen played poker online while being underaged until he could start playing live tournaments at the age of 18. McKeehen's first poker title came in 2012, when he won a side event at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure for $116,230. In March 2013, he won the WSOP Circuit event in Atlantic City, New Jersey, earning $174,147. That year he cashed in the WSOP Main Event for the first time, finishing in 489th place. North Wales, Pennsylvania
North Wales is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is a suburb of Philadelphia and is one of the three historic population centers that make up the North Penn Valley, which is centered on the borough of Lansdale. It is approximately north of Center City Philadelphia. The population was 3,426 as of the 2020 census. Like many small boroughs in Pennsylvania, North Wales' boundaries have not kept pace with population growth. ''Poker Night in America'' (PNIA) is a poker television program which features cash games and sit & gos. The series production began in 2013 and was first aired in 2014. The show is web streamed and televised. PNIA was developed by Todd Anderson, president of Rush Street Productions and co-founder of the ''Heartland Poker Tour''. 2020 World Series Of Poker Online
The 2020 World Series of Poker Online was a series of online poker tournaments organized by the World Series of Poker (WSOP). It was held from July 1-September 8 and featured 85 bracelet events, 31 on WSOP.com and 54 on GGPoker. In June, the WSOP announced the series as a result of postponing the 2020 WSOP in Las Vegas, Nevada due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Events included the $50 Big 50, the lowest buy-in WSOP event in history, as well as four People's Choice tournaments that allowed players to vote on which game to play. The series culminated in the $5,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event beginning on August 16 with a $25 million guaranteed prize pool, the largest in online poker history. Bryn Kenney (born November 1, 1986) is an American professional poker player from Long Beach, New York. The 2015 World Series of Poker is the 46th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP). It was held from May 27 – July 14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Paradise, Nevada. November Nine
The November Nine was the name used to refer to the final nine contestants, or final table, at the Main Event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) from 2008 to 2016. The winner of the WSOP Main Event is considered to be the World Champion of Poker. Prior to 2008, the entire Main Event was played without interruption. Starting in 2008, in an effort to build excitement in the WSOP and to increase ratings for the tape-delayed televised shows, Harrah's Entertainment and ESPN decided to delay the final table until shortly before its scheduled broadcast. The delay would allow ESPN to cover the rest of the tournament leading up to the final table without viewers knowing the winner in advance.
