Joe Jackson (offensive Lineman)
Joe Jackson (born May 12, 1979) is a former American football offensive lineman who played one season with the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League (AFL). He played college football at Baylor University. He was also a member of the Kansas City Chiefs and Frankfurt Galaxy. Early years Jackson played high school football at Groveton High School in Groveton, Texas. He earned all-state honors as a defensive tackle his senior year after recording 126 tackles, three pass deflections and three fumble recoveries. He also played offensive line. College career Jackson played for the Baylor Bears from 1998 to 2001, starting forty games. He was redshirted in 1997. Sir Richard Leofric Jackson CBE (12 July 1902 – 17 February 1975), known as Joe Jackson, was a British barrister and police officer in the London Metropolitan Police. Jackson was born in India, the third son of William Jackson, leader of the Calcutta Bar. His mother was the daughter of Sir Thomas Turton, former Advocate-General of Bengal. He was educated at Cheam School and Eton College, where he acquired the nickname "Joe" after a sports writer watching him box in the final of the Public Schools Boxing Championship compared him to heavyweight champion Joe Beckett. He then went on to Trinity College, Cambridge, where he gained a half blue for boxing. He was called to the bar by the Middle Temple in 1927 and set up a criminal practice. Joseph John 'Joe' Jackson (born 3 February 1993) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward. Jackson signed a professional one-year contract with Burnley in May 2011, having joined the club's Centre of Excellence in 2003. He made his first team debut with the club in April 2012.
