Joe Inman
Joseph Cooper Inman, Jr. (born November 29, 1947) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. Amateur career Inman was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the eldest of six children. After graduating in 1965 from Grimsley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina, he attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and was a distinguished member of the golf team – a three-time All-American (first-team his senior year). He graduated in 1970 and turned pro in 1972 shortly after marrying Nancy Craig of Columbia, South Carolina. Professional career Inman attempted to make the PGA Tour at 1972 PGA Tour Qualifying School. However, he was unsuccessful. Pacific Bell Senior Classic
The AT&T Champions Classic was a professional golf tournament on the Champions Tour in southern California from 1990 to 2009. A mid-autumn event through 2000, it was moved to late winter in 2001. AT&T was the main sponsor of the tournament for its final editions, held at Valencia Country Club in Santa Clarita, California. The tournament was founded in November 1990 as the "Security Pacific Senior Classic" at Rancho Park Golf Club, a municipal course in the city of Los Angeles, where it was played through 1994. Rancho Park hosted the Los Angeles Open on the PGA Tour from 1956 through 1972 (except 1968). The purse for the inaugural event was $500,000 with a winner's share of $75,000. Bruce Summerhays
Bruce Patton Summerhays (born February 14, 1944) is an American professional golfer. He served as a mission president for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tampa, Florida. Career Summerhays was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended the University of Utah and turned professional in 1966. Summerhays spent his regular (under 50) career competing in mainly local events, but as a senior he has competed successfully on the Champions Tour. He has won three Champions Tour events and over $9 million in prize money. Dave Stockton
David Knapp Stockton (born November 2, 1941) is an American retired professional golfer who has won tournaments on both the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. Stockton was born in San Bernardino, California. He attended the University of Southern California and turned professional in 1964. His first PGA Tour win came at the 1967 Colonial National Invitation. He was selected by former Colonial champions as one of two Champion's Choice invitations; he is the only Champion's Choice invitee to win the Colonial in the year of the invitation. His best year was 1974, when he won three times, but his two majors, both of which were PGA Championships, came in 1970 and 1976. Lee Trevino
Lee Buck Trevino (born December 1, 1939) is an American retired professional golfer who is regarded as one of the greatest players in golf history. He was inducted to the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1981. Trevino won six major championships and 29 PGA Tour events over the course of his career. Tom Weiskopf
Thomas Daniel Weiskopf (November 9, 1942 – August 20, 2022) was an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. His most successful decade was the 1970s. He won 16 PGA Tour titles between 1968 and 1982, including the 1973 Open Championship. After winding down his career playing golf, Weiskopf became a noted golf course architect. Career Weiskopf was born in Massillon, Ohio. He attended Benedictine High School in Cleveland, and Ohio State University where he played on the golf team. He turned professional in 1964. Weiskopf's first win on the PGA Tour came at the Andy Williams-San Diego Open Invitational in 1968, and fifteen more followed by 1982. Grier Jones
Grier Jones (born May 6, 1946) is a former college head golf coach and former PGA Tour professional golfer. Jones was born, raised and has been a lifelong resident of Wichita, Kansas. He attended Wichita's Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School where he played both football and golf. He won the 1963 and 1964 Kansas State High School golf championships. An All-American at Oklahoma State University, Jones won the Big Eight Championship in 1967 and 1968 before taking the individual medalist honors at the 1968 NCAA Championships. He also won the 1966 Kansas State Amateur Championship held in Topeka, Kansas while a student at Oklahoma State. Jones spent 14 years on the PGA Tour, beginning in 1969, when he earned PGA Rookie of the Year honors.
