Joe Hurd (born August 25, 1969) is an American technology executive, public company board member and public servant. Currently, he is the Global Managing Director at SOSV, a $750M early-stage venture fund, where he leads strategy and business development efforts for the fund’s life sciences, deep tech hardware and mobile portfolio companies, and a Venture Partner for Good Growth Capital, a female-led venture capital fund. He is an independent non-executive director of GoCo Group plc (LSE: GOCO) d/b/a GoCompare.com, where he sits on the Remuneration and Nomination Committees. In October 2020, he was elected to a 4-year term on the Board of Trustees at Menlo College, and he is a current Director of the American Swiss Foundation.
