Joseph Malcolm Harris (born September 6, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers, before being selected with the 33rd overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was signed by the Nets in 2016, and is one of three players to make 200 three-pointers in one season in the history of the Nets franchise. Joe Harris (January 11, 1870 - June 11, 1953) was an American actor, who between 1913 and 1923 appeared in at least 94 silent films, many of them cowboy westerns. He often played villains opposite early cowboy star Harry Carey. Biography Harris was born Joseph Harris on January 11, 1870, in Lewiston, Maine to Irish parents. His first major film roles were in Hollywood productions by Venus Features where he was one of the stock actors for Powers Picture Plays, which was owned by film producer Pat Powers. He ultimately became friends with cowboy silent film star Harry Carey, for whom he worked as a hired hand. He became one of the members of John Ford's stock company at Universal Pictures and ultimately appeared with Carey in about twenty silent Westerns. He and Carey remained lifelong friends, and he lived with Carey and his family for most of his life. Joseph Benjamin Harris III (January 5, 1928 – March 26, 2017) was an American illustrator and storyboard artist. He is best known for creating the Trix Rabbit, the cartoon mascot for General Mills' Trix breakfast cereal, who debuted in 1959. He also penned the Trix rabbit's memorable commercial tagline, "Silly rabbit! Trix are for kids", which is still utilized in General Mills' advertising campaign, as of 2017. Additionally, in 1959 Harris, Chet Stover, and W. Watts Biggers co-founded Total Television, which produced Saturday morning cartoons. Harris created some of Total Television's best known characters and series, including ''King Leonardo and His Short Subjects'' (1960–1963), ''Klondike Kat'' (1963–1965), and ''Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales'' (1963–1966). Joe Frank Harris (born February 16, 1936) is an American businessman and Democratic politician who served as the 78th Governor of the U.S. state of Georgia from 1983 to 1991. Early life and career Harris was born in the Atco Mill Village of Cartersville, Georgia, to Frank and Frances Harris. Harris was the second of three children with brother Fred Harris and sister Glenda Harris Gambill. Joseph Daniel Harris (born August 17, 1951) is a mathematician at Harvard University working in the field of algebraic geometry. After earning an AB from Harvard College, he continued at Harvard to study for a PhD under Phillip Griffiths. Work During the 1980s, he was on the faculty of Brown University, moving to Harvard around 1988. He served as chair of the department at Harvard from 2002 to 2005. His work is characterized by its classical geometric flavor: he has claimed that nothing he thinks about could not have been imagined by the Italian geometers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and that if he has had greater success than them, it is because he has access to better tools. He is currently the writer of the ongoing monthly comic book series ''Great Pacific'' from Image Comics and ''The X-Files: Season 10'' from IDW Publishing.
