Joe Forzani
Joe Forzani (born June 30, 1945) is a former Canadian football player who played for the Calgary Stampeders. He won the Grey Cup with them in 1971. He played college football at Utah State University. The Utah State Aggies are a college football team that competes in the Mountain West Conference (MWC) of the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of NCAA Division I, representing Utah State University. The Calgary Stampeders are a professional Canadian football team based in Calgary, Alberta. The Stampeders compete in the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The club plays its home games at McMahon Stadium and are the third-oldest active franchise in the CFL. John Forzani
John Forzani (April 5, 1947 – October 30, 2014) was a Canadian businessman, former Canadian Football League (CFL) player, and CFL team owner. He was the Chairman and co-founder of FGL Sports. Early life Born in Calgary, Alberta, he received a degree in business administration from Utah State University in 1971. In 1971, he joined the Calgary Stampeders as an offensive lineman and was part of the winning team of the 59th Grey Cup. He played football until 1976. Career In 1974, he opened a store called Forzani's Locker Room in Calgary. In 1994, he acquired Sports Experts Inc. for $20 million becoming Canada's largest sporting goods retailer. Tom Forzani
Tom Forzani (born June 15, 1951) is a former Canadian football wide receiver for the CFL Calgary Stampeders. He played from 1973 to 1983 for the Stampeders. He is one of three Forzani brothers to play for their hometown Stampeders, along with Joe and John. Forzani's son, Johnny Forzani, also played for the Stampeders. Tom was an all-star selection at wide receiver in 1973, '74 and '77. Tom lead the Stampeders in receiving in 5 season and had 50 or more catches in 7 seasons. He had at least one reception in 11 consecutive season, tied for the club lead with Allen Pitts. His No. 22 was retired by the Stampeders in 1984.
