Joseph P. Craig (March 22, 1918 – February 22, 1991) was an American Negro league outfielder in the 1940s. A native of Darby, Pennsylvania Darby is a borough (Pennsylvania), borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The borough is located along Darby Creek southwest of Center City, Philadelphia, Center City Philadelphia. Joseph Craig (born 14 May 1954) is a Scottish former footballer, who played for Sauchie, Partick Thistle, Celtic, Blackburn Rovers, Hamilton Academical and the Scotland national team. Craig, a striker, joined Partick Thistle in 1972 from Sauchie Juniors. After an impressive start, scoring seven goals in his first twenty games, he attracted the attention of Liverpool FC's Bill Shankly who watched him in Scottish Cup action against Dumbarton on 28 February 1973 but didn't follow it up with a bid.Liverpool Echo 1 March 1973 He helped the club to the First Division title in season 1975-76. He signed for Celtic in September 1976 for £60,000 where he won the Scottish Cup and League Championship in his first season. He moved to Blackburn Rovers in September 1978 where he remained until 1981 when he joined Hamilton Academical. He retired in 1983. Joe Craig (born 31 December 1981 in London) is an England, English children's novelist and musician. He is best known for the Jimmy Coates series of books. Early life and education Craig was born and grew up in the Finchley neighbourhood of north London. His mother is a poet and his two sisters are also writers. He studied philosophy at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, where he wrote and composed music for the Cambridge Footlights. Career In 2002, he provided the score for the musical theatre production ''Told You So: A Musical Hijacking of Aesop's Fables'' (book and lyrics by John Finnemore (writer), John Finnemore). His first children's book, ''Jimmy Coates: Killer'', was published in 2005. He described the plot as being about "a boy on the run from the secret service, battling Britain’s dictatorship, while resisting his own genetic programming that gives him the instincts and abilities of an assassin".
