Joe Bouchard
Joseph J. Bouchard (; born November 9, 1948) is an American musician. He was the bassist and one of the lead singers of the hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult during their most successful period. He is the younger brother of original Blue Öyster Cult drummer Albert Bouchard. Bouchard was born in Watertown, New York. Watertown (city), New York
Watertown is a city in, and the county seat of, Jefferson County, New York, United States. It is approximately south of the Thousand Islands, along the Black River about east of where it flows into Lake Ontario. The city is bordered by the town of Watertown to the south, east, and west, and is served by the Watertown International Airport and the ''Watertown Daily Times'' newspaper. In the middle of Watertown lies the Public Square Historic District, which was built in 1805 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1984. Watertown is located southwest of the U.S. Army base at Fort Drum; it is the service and shopping destination for personnel there and their families. The Revölution By Night
''The Revölution by Night'' is the ninth studio album by American hard rock band Blue Öyster Cult, released on November 8, 1983. The album was intended to capitalize on the success of '' Fire of Unknown Origin'' two years prior, hence the blend of straight-ahead rock and pop elements. This was the first BÖC album not to feature all of the band's classic members, drummer Albert Bouchard having been fired during the previous tour and replaced by roadie Rick Downey. In contrast to the success of ''Fire of Unknown Origin'', the album failed to go Gold in the United States. Songs Lead single " Shooting Shark" was modestly successful on radio, reaching #83 and #16 on the '' Billboard'' Hot 100 and Mainstream Rock charts, respectively. Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. It lies between violet and cyan on the spectrum of visible light. The eye perceives blue when observing light with a dominant wavelength between approximately 450 and 495 nanometres. All of the material on this album was recorded prior to the ''Imaginos'' sessions; some of it was previously only available on promo discs (marked (*)), and a few others were previously unavailable on CD (marked (+)). The CD comes with an explanatory booklet outlining the development of Blue Öyster Cult and their rise to fame throughout the 1970s and 1980s.
