Jodie Haydon
Jodie Haydon (born 1978) is an Australian financial services professional and women's advocate. She is the partner of Anthony Albanese, the 31st and current Prime Minister of Australia since 23 May 2022. Early life and career Haydon was born in 1978 at Bankstown, Sydney, and grew up on the Central Coast of New South Wales, the daughter of two teachers. She dropped out of university and began a career in superannuation spanning 20 years in banking and finance companies including industry superannuation funds. In February 2022, Haydon was hired in a new position as women's officer, following her role as a union delegate for the NSW Public Service Association. Personal life Haydon met Anthony Albanese in March 2020 at a business dinner in Melbourne where he was speaking. 2022 Australian Federal Election
The 2022 Australian federal election was held on Saturday 21 May 2022 to elect members of the 47th Parliament of Australia. The incumbent Liberal/National Coalition government, led by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, sought to win a fourth consecutive term in office but was defeated by the opposition, the Labor Party, led by Anthony Albanese. Up for election were all 151 seats in the lower house, the House of Representatives, and 40 of the 76 seats in the upper house, the Senate. The Australian Labor Party achieved a majority government for the first time since 2007, winning 77 seats in the House of Representatives. Carmel Tebbutt
Carmel Mary Tebbutt (born 22 January 1964) is an Australian former politician. She was the Labor Party Member for the former seat of Marrickville in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly until the 2015 election and was Deputy Premier of New South Wales from 2008 to 2011. She was also Minister for Health in the Keneally Government. She is the first woman to hold the position of Deputy Premier of New South Wales. Early life Tebbutt is one of seven children. She was born and raised in the country New South Wales town of Forbes. The South Sydney Rabbitohs are a professional Australian rugby league club based in Redfern, a suburb of inner-southern Sydney, New South Wales. They participate in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and are one of nine existing teams from the state capital, Sydney. They are often called Souths or The Bunnies. The Public Service Association of NSW (PSA) is a union which covers employees in the government, university and related public sector in New South Wales. The union is registered under New South Wales state legislation and is affiliated with the Labor Council of New South Wales. Jennifer Morrison (née Warren; born 8 January 1968) is an Australian former registered nurse and the wife of Scott Morrison, who was prime minister of Australia from 2018 to 2022.
