Jodie Guilliams
Jodie Guilliams (born ) is a Belgian volleyball player. She plays as an outside hitter. Career In her youth, Jodie Guilliams played from childhood with Landen SV, and from 2010 with the Lizards Lubbeek. She attended the volleyball school program of the Topsportschool in Vilvoorde, where she changed from her usual opposite position to reception corner player. Jodie Guilliams made her debut at VC Oudegem in 2014, played in the CEV Challenge Cup and moved after three seasons and after becoming vice-champion with her team to Asterix Avo Beveren where she won the double title of champion and cup. In 2018, Jodie Guilliams went internationally to Germany when she started at Ladies in Black Aachen where she reached the semifinals in both the DVV-Pokal and the Playoffs of the Bundesliga. Since 2019/20 she has been playing for Rote Raben Vilsbiburg in Germany. VC Oudegem is a women's volleyball team based in Oudegem, a town in the municipality of Dendermonde, Belgium Belgium, ; french: Belgique ; german: Belgien officially the Kingdom of Belgium, is a country in Northwestern Europe. Since the 2010–11 season, the women's A squad plays in Ere Divisie, the highest level of the Belgian volleyball league pyramid. Their first Ere Divisie season started in 2008, in which the team did quite well and almost managed to avoid relegation playoffs. The relegation playoff itself went quite disastrous however, and Oudegem were relegated directly. They returned to the highest level immediately, after becoming champions. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. CEV Women's Challenge Cup
The CEV Women's Challenge Cup, formerly (from 1980 to 2007) known as CEV Women's Cup is the third official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created as in 1980 to allow more clubs to participate in European competitions. In 2007 it was renamed following a CEV decision to rename its second official competition (known as Top Teams Cup) to CEV Cup.
