Jochem Kamphuis
Jochem Kamphuis (born 11 April 1986) is a Dutch football referee who officiates in the Eredivisie. He has been a FIFA referee since 2020, and is ranked as a UEFA third category referee. Refereeing career In 2008, Kamphuis began officiating in the Eerste Divisie. Three years later, he made his refereeing debut in the top-flight Eredivisie. His first match officiated in the league was on 15 October 2011 between SC Heerenveen and De Graafschap. Kamphuis also officiated matches in the Belgian Second Division and the Saudi Professional League. In 2020, he was put on the FIFA referees list. The 2020 UEFA Europa League Final was the final match of the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League, the 49th season of Europe's secondary club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 11th season since it was renamed from the UEFA Cup to the UEFA Europa League. The video assistant referee (VAR) is a match official in association football who reviews decisions made by the referee. The assistant video assistant referee (AVAR) is a current or former referee appointed to assist the VAR in the video operation room. The responsibilities of the AVAR include watching the live action on the field while the VAR is undertaking a "check" or a "review", to keep a record of reviewable incidents, and to communicate the outcome of a review to broadcasters. The Belgian Second Division (known as the Proximus League for sponsorship reasons) was the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian Pro League. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. VBV De Graafschap () is a professional football club from Doetinchem, Netherlands, playing in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. It was formed on 1 February 1954 and they play their home games at the De Vijverberg stadium. The stadium was opened on 12 August 2000 and stands on the site of the club's old pitch.
