Joan Ryan (actress)
Joan Ryan is an American actress and singer, who played Judy Denmark/Ginger Del Marco in the Los Angeles production of ''Ruthless!'', and Miss Tina Paladrino on '' Good Morning, Miss Bliss'', the television series that became ''Saved by the Bell''. Career Ryan was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Newport Beach, California. She attended the advanced training program at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, California, and while enrolled, appeared in productions of The Taming of the Shrew, Cyrano de Bergerac and A Doll's House as a member of the conservatory's theater company. Upon completion of the program, Ryan moved to Los Angeles, California where she performed in productions of Little Shop of Horrors, Footloose, Angry Housewives, Nite Club Confidential, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The Musical'' is an all-female musical with music by Marvin Laird and book and lyrics by Joel Paley that spoofs Broadway musicals, like ''Gypsy'' and ''Mame'', and movies such as ''The Bad Seed'' and ''All About Eve''. The Tiffany Theater was the first theater on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. It stood west of La Cienega between the Playboy Club and Dino's Lodge restaurant. Before being converted from the Mary Webb Davis Modeling School office at 8532 W. The Hollywood Bowl is an amphitheatre in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It was named one of the 10 best live music venues in America by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine in 2018. Birdland (New York Jazz Club)
Birdland is a jazz club started in New York City on December 15, 1949. The original Birdland, which was located at 1678 Broadway, just north of West 52nd Street in Manhattan, was closed in 1965 due to increased rents, but it re-opened for one night in 1979. A revival began in 1986 with the opening of the second nightclub by the same name that is now located in Manhattan's Theater District, not far from the original nightclub's location.
