Joakim Lindström
Joakim Claes Lindström (born December 5, 1983) is a Swedish professional ice hockey winger currently playing for Skellefteå AIK of the Swedish Hockey League. Lindström has previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Phoenix Coyotes, Colorado Avalanche, St. Louis Blues and, most recently, for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was drafted in the second round, 41st overall, by Columbus in 2002. Playing career Lindström came through the youth ranks of Skellefteå AIK, before joining the Modo Hockey youth program. He logged his first minutes in the country's top-flight Swedish Hockey League for Modo during the 2000-01 season. He was drafted 41st overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Skellefteå
Skellefteå (, locally ) is a Cities in Sweden, city in Västerbotten County, Sweden. It is the seat of Skellefteå Municipality, which had 73,246 inhabitants in 2021. The city is historically industrial, with mining being a large part of that industry, especially for gold, leading to the city being nicknamed ''Guldstaden'' ("gold town"). Politically, Skellefteå is a Social Democrats (Sweden), Social Democratic stronghold. Syracuse Crunch
The Syracuse Crunch are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They play in Syracuse, New York, at the Upstate Medical University Arena. They are the primary development affiliate of the National Hockey League's Tampa Bay Lightning. History Vancouver and Pittsburgh affiliations (1994–2000) The franchise originated in 1992 as the Hamilton Canucks, which was an affiliate of the NHL's Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks played in Hamilton, Ontario, for two seasons, before relocating to upstate New York in 1994. They were then renamed the "Crunch" from a public vote that included five names. 2014–15 NHL Season
The 2014–15 NHL season was the 98th season of operation (97th season of play) of the National Hockey League (NHL). 2010–11 Elitserien Season
The 2010–11 Elitserien season was the 36th season of Elitserien. The regular season ran from 15 September 2010 to 5 March 2011, and the following playoffs ended on 14 April. HV71 won the regular season, scoring the game-winning empty net goal against Södertälje SK in the final round. Färjestads BK won the playoffs and thus became Swedish champions, beating Skellefteå AIK 4–1 in the finals. All of the local derby games between AIK and Djurgårdens IF were played in the Ericsson Globe. On 26 December 2010, a game was held outdoors between Färjestads BK and Frölunda HC in Karlstad, continuing a tradition of outdoor games started in the previous season. The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL; russian: Континентальная хоккейная лига (КХЛ), Kontinental'naya khokkeynaya liga) is an international professional ice hockey league founded in 2008. It comprises member clubs based in Russia (19), Belarus (1), Kazakhstan (1) and China (1) for a total of 22 clubs. Dallas Stars
The Dallas Stars are a professional ice hockey team based in Dallas. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Central Division (NHL), Central Division in the Western Conference (NHL), Western Conference, and were founded during the 1967 NHL expansion as the Minnesota North Stars, based in Bloomington, Minnesota. Logan Stephenson
Logan Stephenson (born February 19, 1986) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who currently plays in Japan for the Tohoku Free Blades of the Asian League. He was originally drafted 35th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Phoenix Coyotes. He is the son of Bob Stephenson and the younger brother of Shay Stephenson, who plays for the Norwegian hockeyteam Sparta Warriors. The Iowa Stars, later known as the Iowa Chops, were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. The club was based in Des Moines, Iowa at the Wells Fargo Arena.
