Joanna White (born 3 March 1979) is a Canadian former cricketer. Canada Women's National Cricket Team
The Canada women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Canada in international women's cricket matches. The team made its international debut in 2006, although Cricket Canada has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1968. Canada is one of the leading associate members in the ICC Americas region. The team is yet to qualify for any ICC global events but did reach the 2013 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier. History Canada made their international debut in September 2006 in a three match series of one-day games against Bermuda to decide which team would represent the Americas region in the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Ireland in 2007. The ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier (until 2018, the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier) is an international cricket tournament that serves as the final step of the qualification process for the Women's T20 World Cup. The qualifier was held for the first time in 2013, with the top three teams qualifiying for the World Cup. Each subsequent edition has featured eight teams, determined by a combination of international rankings, previous World Cup results, and regional qualifiers, with the top two teams qualifying for the World Cup. The 2013 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier was an international cricket tournament held in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland, from 23 July to 1 August 2013. The tournament was the inaugural edition of the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier, Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier, with the top three teams advancing to the 2014 ICC Women's World Twenty20, 2014 World Twenty20 in Bangladesh. Eight teams played in the tournament.
