Jo Pearson
Jo Pearson is an Australian television presenter and journalist. Career Pearson is perhaps best known for her association with Network Ten throughout the 1980's and early 1990's. After working at TVQ-0 in Brisbane, she transferred to ATV-0 in Melbourne where she co-presented '' Ten Eyewitness News'' with David Johnston from 1982 to 1987 and again from 1991 to 1993. In 1988, Pearson was crowned as a Moomba monarch during Melborne's annual Moomba Festival. Pearson was poached by the Nine Network in 1988 who reportedly lured her across from Ten with a contract worth approximately one million dollars. This was reportedly in an attempt by Nine to "warehouse" Pearson just to break up the successful pairing of Pearson and Johnston. Tim Webster
Tim Webster (born 15 December 1951) is an Australian television and radio personality and sports broadcaster. He held various presenting roles on Network 10 from 1981 until 2008. Career Early career In 1972, Webster started working for Bathurst radio station 2BS, progressing from a media buyer to a radio announcer. Later, Webster was part of the on-air team at Triple M Sydney. Television Webster was the first newsreader on breakfast television show '' Good Morning Australia''. Tracey Ilana Curro (born 27 November 1963 in Ingham, Queensland) is an Australian journalist. Curro has previously been a news presenter on GMV-6, QTQ-9 and ATV-10 and a reporter on the Seven Network's ''Beyond 2000'', a science-technology show, and correspondent on ''60 Minutes (Australian TV program), 60 Minutes''. Jana Bohumila Wendt ( ; born 9 May 1956) is an Australian Gold Logie award-winning television journalist, reporter and writer. Early life Wendt was born in Melbourne to Czech parents who emigrated to Australia in 1949. Wendt attended Presentation College, Windsor before graduating at the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts (French, Honours) in 1979. Career Starting as a researcher for the ABC, Wendt's television career began as a news presenter for ATV-10 evening news. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015. ABC Radio Melbourne (official callsign: 3LO) is an ABC Local Radio station in Melbourne, Australia. It began transmission on 13 October 1924, and was Melbourne's second licensed radio station after 3AR. Rob Gell
Rob Gell AM (born 25 August 1952) is a geomorphologist and weather presenter, with a degree in meteorology. Gell attended Camberwell Grammar School as a student in the 1960s. Gell has been a weather presenter for ''National Nine News'' and later ''Seven News''. He was one of the few Australian weather presenters on free-to-air television with a degree in science, along with David Brown and Magdalena Roze.
