JoAnn Dayton-Selman
JoAnn Dayton-Selman is an American politician and former Wyoming state legislator. A member of the Democratic Party, Dayton-Selman represented the 17th district in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 2015 to 2021. Elections 2012 Dayton-Selman ran unopposed in the Democratic primary to replace Bernadine Craft, who was running for the Wyoming Senate. She faced former Republican State Representative Stephen Watt in the general election and lost 55% to 45%. 2014 Dayton-Selman ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, setting up a rematch against Watt. She defeated Watt, 58% to 42%. 2016 Dayton-Selman ran unopposed in both the Democratic primary and general election. 2018 Dayton-Selman ran unopposed in the Democratic primary. Stephen Watt (politician)
Stephen Watt (born January 8, 1956, in Newcastle, Wyoming) is an American politician and a former Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives. Watt served three non-consecutive terms, representing District 16 from 2001 to 2003 and District 17 from 2005 to 2007 and again from 2013 to 2015. Watt was an unsuccessful candidate for governor of Wyoming in 2002. Education Watt attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska. The Wyoming Senate is the upper house of the Wyoming State Legislature. There are 30 Senators in the Senate, representing an equal number of constituencies across Wyoming, each with a population of at least 17,000. Bernadine Craft
Bernadine L. Craft is an American politician and a former Democratic member of the Wyoming State Senate and previously a member of Wyoming House of Representatives, and had represented the 12th district from January 7, 2013 to January 10, 2017. Craft first ran for and won a seat in the Wyoming House of Representatives in 2006, representing the city of Rock Springs. In 2012, Craft announced that she would run for the 12th district in the Wyoming Senate, replacing outgoing Marty Martin. JoAnn Dayton succeeded Craft as the Democratic nominee, but lost to Stephen Watt. Craft, on the other hand, won the election without any opposition.
