Jm J. Bullock
James Jackson Bullock (born February 9, 1955) is an American actor and comedian of stage, television, and motion pictures. He starred in the sitcom ''Too Close for Comfort''. Early life Bullock was born in Casper, Wyoming, and raised in Odessa, Texas (although he is listed as an alumnus of Natrona County High School (Casper, Wyoming)), and was raised in a Southern Baptist home and as a youth, planned to become an evangelical Christian minister. He received a music scholarship to attend Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma, but left school without graduating. Career Credited as "JM J. Bullock" because there was another "Jim Bullock" in the actors union, Bullock became a notable entertainment figure in the 1980s when he co-starred on the sitcom ''Too Close for Comfort'' as Monroe Ficus and was a regular guest on John Davidson's updated version of the game show ''Hollywood Squares''; Bullock occasionally substituted for Davidson as host. ''The Desert Sun'' is a local daily newspaper serving Palm Springs and the surrounding Coachella Valley in Southern California. History ''The Desert Sun'' is owned by Gannett publications since 1988 and acquired the Indio ''Daily News'' in 1990 to become the sole local newspaper. First issued on August 5, 1927, as a weekly six-page newspaper, ''The Desert Sun'' grew with the desert communities it serves. It covers local, state, national and world news, and has developed a variety of sections over time. The newspaper began to publish six days a week in 1955 and had its first Sunday edition on September 8, 1991. Its circulation to date is 50,000 and their distribution range is in regional communities from Beaumont to Twentynine Palms to the Salton Sea.
