Jiří Jarošík
Jiří Jarošík (born 27 October 1977) is a Czech football manager and a former player. His playing position was defender and midfielder. He started his club career in his native Czech Republic, winning six league titles in seven years with Sparta Prague. He headed abroad to continue his football career, spending eight years playing for various teams including CSKA Moscow, Chelsea, Birmingham City, Celtic, Krylia Sovetov and Real Zaragoza. During this time he became the first footballer ever to win league titles in four different countries. He then returned to Sparta, although only for two seasons, after which he headed to Spain to play for Deportivo Alavés. Jarošík played for the Czech national team, making 23 appearances without scoring between 2000 and 2005. PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara (russian: Профессиональный футбольный клуб «Крылья Советов» Самара) is a football club from Russia based in Samara. It returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2021–22 season. In 2004, they finished third in the Russian Premier League. History Krylia Sovetov was founded in Kuybyshev (now Samara) in 1942. On 21 April 1946 the team played its first match in the highest division in the USSR in Alma-Ata, in which they lost 1–2 to Zenit Leningrad. Krylia Sovetov participated in 48 seasons of the Soviet Top League and 13 in the Russian Premier League, as well as 43 USSR Cups and 13 Russian Cups. St Andrew's (stadium)
St Andrew's is an association football stadium in the Bordesley district of Birmingham, England. It has been the home ground of Birmingham City Football Club for more than a century. From 2018 to 2021, it was known for sponsorship reasons as St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium. Constructed and opened in 1906 to replace the Muntz Street ground, which had become too small to meet the club's needs, the original St Andrew's could hold an estimated 75,000 spectators, housed in one grandstand and a large uncovered terrace. Michael Essien
Michael Kojo Essien (born 3 December 1982) is a Ghanaian former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder and is currently a member of Danish Superliga club FC Nordsjælland, Nordsjælland's coaching staff. The 2005 Football League Cup Final was a football match played between Liverpool and Chelsea on 27 February 2005 at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff. Midfielder
A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
