Jivan Avetisyan
Jivan Avetisyan ( hy, Ջիվան Ավետիսյան) is an Armenian film director who was born in Gyumri, raised in Stepanakert, Artsakh and lives in Yerevan, Armenia. Jivan was a member of Berlinale Talents 2020 and simultaneously selected to become a subject of a documentary by Deutsche Welle. Gyumri
Gyumri ( hy, Գյումրի, ) is an urban municipal community and the second-largest city in Armenia, serving as the administrative center of Shirak Province in the northwestern part of the country. The Palme d'Or (; en, Golden Palm) is the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival. It was introduced in 1955 by the festival's organizing committee.
