Jirō Suzuki
is a Japanese manga artist. She is the writer and illustrator of the manga ''MAGiMAGi'', and has provided illustrations for the manga adaptations of the ''Tatarigoroshi-hen'' chapter in ''Higurashi When They Cry'' and the ''Turn of the Golden Witch'' chapter in ''Umineko When They Cry''. She is also one of the character designers for the 07th Expansion game ''Rose Guns Days is a four-part Japanese '' dōjin'' visual novel series produced by 07th Expansion and playable on Windows PCs. The first game in the series, ''Season 1'', was released on August 11, 2012, and the fourth game, ''Last Season'', was released ...'', designing several characters including the main character Leo Shishigami. A is a comic artist who writes and/or illustrates manga. As of 2006, about 3,000 professional manga artists were working in Japan. Most manga artists study at an art college or manga school or take on an apprenticeship with another artist before entering the industry as a primary creator. More rarely a manga artist breaks into the industry directly, without previously being an assistant. For example, Naoko Takeuchi, author of '' Sailor Moon'', won a Kodansha Manga Award contest and manga pioneer Osamu Tezuka was first published while studying an unrelated degree, without working as an assistant. A manga artist will rise to prominence through recognition of their ability when they spark the interest of institutions, individuals or a demographic of manga consumers.
