The Jiri River is a tributary of the Barak River in the Indian state of Assam. The river originates from Boro Ninglo area of Dima Hasao district. Assam (; ) is a state in northeastern India, south of the eastern Himalayas along the Brahmaputra and Barak River valleys. Assam covers an area of .
