Jimmy Raye III
Jimmy Arthur Raye III (born November 24, 1968) is an American football former professional wide receiver and current team executive in the National Football League (NFL). Early years Raye is the son of Jimmy Raye II, who was the offensive coordinator for seven different NFL teams, most recently the San Francisco 49ers. He attended Irvine High School in Irvine, California during his high school years. College career A wide receiver for the Aztecs of San Diego State University (SDSU) from 1986 to 1990, Raye earned a bachelor's degree in public administration. He left SDSU tied for eighth on the school's all-time receiving list with 111 catches. National Football League career Raye's National Football League career began when he signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Rams in 1991. Jerry Angelo (born c. 1949) is a former American football executive who was the general manager for the National Football League's Chicago Bears from 2001 to 2011. Prior to joining the Bears, Angelo spent 14 years overseeing Tampa Bay Buccaneers' scouting department as their director of player personnel. Angelo graduated from Miami University in 1971. Early career Angelo began his career in the NFL as a scout for both the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys in the early 1980s. Four years later he moved on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that had experienced brief success. An expansion team established in 1976, the Buccaneers lost the 1979 NFC Championship Game to the Los Angeles Rams. The 1991 Los Angeles Rams season was the team's 55th year with the National Football League and the 46th season in Los Angeles. The team was looking to improve on its 5–11 record from 1990. However, the Rams finished the 1991 season 3–13, tied for the second worst record in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After splitting their first 6 games, the Rams lost their final 10 games of the season, their longest losing streak to end a season, beating the 1937 team based in Cleveland, who lost nine in a row to end that season. The 3–13 record was the worst for the Rams in Los Angeles for a 16-game schedule and tied the third-fewest victories posted by the team during its tenure in the city.
