Jimmy Nielsen
Jimmy Nielsen (born 6 August 1977) is a Danish-American retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Until June 2007, he played 398 games for Danish team AaB Fodbold. Playing every league match for AaB since 1997, Nielsen won the 1999 Danish Superliga championship with AaB. Nielsen has on occasion featured in the Danish national team setup as an unused substitute. He won the 1998 and 2004 Danish Goalkeeper of the Year award. Club career Europe Nielsen began his career with Norwich City at the age of 12. He was discovered after Norwich City's youth team traveled to Aalborg to take part in a local youth tournament but their only goalkeeper, Ash Harrison, fell ill and Nielsen was recruited as a replacement. He played for Norwich City until the age of 15 when he was offered professional terms but his mother refused permission for him to move permanently to England. Peter Degn
Peter Degn (born April 6, 1977) is a Danish former professional footballer. He has played 25 games and scored three goals for the Denmark national under-21 football team. Biography Born in Ebeltoft, Peter Degn started his career for local amateur team Ebeltoft IF in 1994. In 1996, he moved to Aarhus Gymnastik Forening (AGF) in the top-flight Danish Superliga championship. He got his national breakthrough in the 1996 Danish Cup final, when he scored the first goal in the 2–0 win against Brøndby IF. Allan Kierstein Jepsen (born 4 July 1977 in Kolding) is a Danish former professional football player and current U17 manager at FC Midtjylland. He played as a left back for a number of clubs, spending most of his career with Aalborg Boldspilklub. Jepsen played two games for the Denmark national football team. Peter Joseph Vermes (; born November 21, 1966) is an American professional soccer coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer. As of 2022, Vermes is currently the longest-tenured head coach in MLS and has won four major trophies as a manager, the second most of all active coaches in MLS. Márton Fülöp (; 3 May 1983 – 12 November 2015) was a Hungarian professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. After playing in Hungary for MTK Budapest, BKV Előre SC and BFC Siófok, he signed for English club Tottenham Hotspur, who loaned him to Chesterfield and Coventry, then to Sunderland with whom he permanently signed in 2007. Further loans to Leicester City, Stoke City and Manchester City ended with a transfer to Ipswich Town. He ended his career with spells at West Bromwich Albion and Greece's Asteras Tripolis. Martin James Allen (born 14 August 1965) is an English football manager and former player. He played more than 100 games as a midfielder for both Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United before finishing his playing career with Portsmouth and Southend United.
