Jimmy McLaughlin (soccer)
James Joseph McLaughlin III (born April 30, 1993) is an American former professional association football, soccer midfielder who most recently played for USL Championship side Louisville City FC, Louisville City. He began his professional career in 2012 as a homegrown player for MLS side Philadelphia Union. However, after two years without seeing much playing time, he spent 2014 and 2015 on loan to the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Championship, United Soccer League (USL). McLaughlin left his native Philadelphia in 2016 to sign with USL expansion club FC Cincinnati (2016–18), FC Cincinnati. He became a fan favorite in Cincinnati and made 91 appearances through the club's first three seasons. As FC Cincinnati moved up to MLS for the 2019 season, he was signed to an MLS contract, but missed the entire season recovering from knee surgery. Bryn Mawr, pronounced , from Welsh for big hill, is a census-designated place (CDP) located across three townships: Radnor Township and Haverford Township in Delaware County, and Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is located just west of Philadelphia along Lancaster Avenue, also known as U.S. Route 30. There are also areas not in the census-designated place but which have Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania postal addresses, including Radnor Township and Haverford Township in Delaware County. Bryn Mawr is located toward the center of what is known as the Main Line, a group of affluent Philadelphia suburban villages stretching from the city limits to Malvern.
