Looking Glass is an American pop rock group of the early 1970s that was part of the Jersey Shore sound. Their 1972 song " Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" was a #1 hit on both the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and ''Cash Box'' Top 100 charts, remaining in the top position for one week. Career The group was formed in 1969, at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Mark Williams (singer)
Mark Williams (born 21 August 1954) is a New Zealand singer with Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (RIANZ) number one hit singles, "Yesterday Was Just the Beginning of My Life" (1975) and a cover of Buddy Holly's "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" (1977) before he relocated to Australia later that year. His single, "Show No Mercy (Mark Williams song), Show No Mercy" (1990) was a top ten hit in both countries. Josie Cotton (born 1956) is an American singer and songwriter, best known for " Johnny Are You Queer?" and "He Could Be the One" from 1982. "Johnny Are You Queer?" was used on the soundtracks to ''Jackass Number Two'' and ''Valley Girl''. "He Could Be the One" was also used in ''Valley Girl''. Career Born Josie Jones in Dallas, Texas, Cotton sang with Dallas bands and then moved to Los Angeles, California. She met Larson Paine in Hollywood, and the two began dating. Larson and his brother Bobby gave her "Johnny, Are You Queer?", previously performed live by The Go-Go's, to record as a demo. After the first label to sign her folded, Bomp! Records released the song as a single.
