Jimmy Gavin
Jimmy Gavin (born August 28, 1991) is an American basketball player for Szolnoki Olajbányász of the Hungarian first division. Early career Gavin played on his high school team in his freshman and sophomore year, but was unable to complete his sophomore year after he was diagnosed with Chrone's disease. College career Gavin enrolled at Mississippi State University as a regular student focused on academics. In the spring of 2011, he left the university to return home after his younger brother was killed in a car crash. The following year he joined the varsity team of Bradley, before transferring to the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers in 2013. In two seasons, he scored 1,004 points in the NCAA Division II. As a senior he averaged 17.4 points and as named to the GLVC All-First Team. In his final college season, he played in the Division I for Winthrop, averaging 18.7 points per game. Dutch Basketball Cup
The Basketball Cup, formerly the NBB Cup ( nl, NBB-Beker), is an annual cup competition for Dutch basketball teams organised by the Basketball Nederland. Every team in the Netherlands can participate by signing up for the preliminary rounds. Professional basketball teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the tournament in the fourth round. From 1977 until 1990 professional teams were not allowed to participate in the competition. The tournament is organized in a knock-out format, with quarter- and semi-finals being two-legged series while the final is played in a single game. The BNXT League, for sponsorship reasons the betFirst BNXT League, is a professional basketball league in Belgium and the Netherlands. The league is the first tier in both the Dutch and Belgian system, replacing the Dutch Basketball League, DBL and Pro Basketball League, PBL. Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. The 2016 NBA Summer League consisted of three pro basketball leagues organized by the National Basketball Association (NBA): the Orlando Pro Summer League, Utah Jazz Summer League, and Las Vegas Summer League.
