Jimmy Brewster
James David Brewster Jr. (January 9, 1902 – August 20, 1998) was an American gridiron football player. Biography Brewster was born in Newnan, Georgia, in 1902. His father was the sheriff of Coweta County, and his mother, Margaret, was a homemaker. He graduated from Newnan High School, then attended the Georgia School of Technology (Georgia Tech). Brewster played college football during 1919–1923 for the Georgia Tech football team. His fancy footwork earned him the nickname "the Side-Stepping Wonder." He was selected to the 1922 College Football All-Southern Team by Billy Evans. A member of Alpha Tau Omega, he graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in textile engineering. Jack McDonough (American Football)
John J. "Jack" McDonough was a college football player and one time president of Georgia Power. He also coached Savannah High School. Georgia Tech A native of Savannah, McDonough was a star quarterback for William Alexander's Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football teams, inducted into the school's athletics hall of fame in 1962. McDonough amassed a 26–7 record while at Tech. He started as a true freshman when Marshall Guill was moved to end, and only missed four games in four years due to an injury in his sophomore season caused by Pitt's Orville Hewitt. Doug Wycoff
Stephen Douglas Wycoff (September 16, 1903 – October 27, 1981) was an American football running back for the New York Giants, Staten Island Stapletons, and Boston Redskins in the National Football League (NFL), the Newark Bears in the first American Football League (AFL), and the Boston Shamrocks in the second American Football League. He played college football at Georgia Tech, where he was a running back and senior captain. Georgia Tech Wycoff prepped in Little Rock, Arkansas, and came to Tech as a package deal with Ike Williams. Ivan Andy "Ike" Williams (April 23, 1902 – April 18, 1988) was an American gridiron football player of the 1920s. He played college football for Georgia Tech and later had a brief professional career. Biography Williams was born in 1902 in Marshall, Oklahoma, and attended Little Rock Central High School in Arkansas. He played high school football with his brother, Orval, and Doug Wycoff—all three entered the Georgia School of Technology (Georgia Tech). Williams played for the Georgia Tech football team during the one-platoon system era, and was a three-time letterman (1923–1925).
