Routledge, p. 1092 – February 5, 1965 or February 24, 1966) was an American West Coast blues singer, best known for his 1953 hit "Tin Pan Alley". Life and career Details of Wilson's life are sketchy and uncertain. He may have been born Jimmie Ned Wilson in Gibsland, Louisiana, in 1918, or (according to other sources) near Lake Charles, Louisiana a few years later. Wilson was singing with a Gospel music, gospel quartet, the Pilgrim Travelers, in California, when Bob Geddins began recording him in Oakland, California, Oakland in 1951, initially with his band Bob Geddins' Cavaliers. Further recordings were made under Wilson's own name, often accompanied by guitarist Lafayette Thomas. Jim Richard Wilson (February 18, 1953 – July 13, 2014) was an American art curator who was the founding director of the Opalka Gallery. He served as gallery director and art history lecturer for The Sage Colleges for over 20 years (1992–2013). Previously, he was with the State University of New York as assistant director of university-wide Programs in the Arts (1989–1992). He has been consultant to and lectured for numerous arts organizations and museums and was Director of the Peter S. Loonam Gallery in Bridgehampton, New York, for ten years (1976–1986) prior to relocating to the Capital District of New York State. Wilson has been curating shows and writing on art since 1975. Jim Wilson (born 29 December 1967 in Southport, Queensland) is an Australian sports journalist, reporter and radio presenter. Wilson has previously had a 28 year career at the Seven Network as a sport presenter, reporter and sports editor for ''Seven News'' initially starting in the Melbourne newsroom before moving to Sydney. Prior to joining the Seven Network he was a sport reporter at the Nine Network in Brisbane. James Milligan Wilson (June 12, 1942 – February 2, 2009) was a professional American football offensive lineman and a professional wrestler. During his time as a wrestler, he attempted to start a labor union for wrestlers, and continued his efforts after he left the sport.
