Jim Waley
Jim Waley (born 5 October 1948) is an Australian television presenter best known for his work on the Nine Network and Sky News Career In 1981, Waley was appointed founding host of ''Sunday (Australian TV program), Sunday''. In 1986 he was invited to be founding presenter of the network's business and finance program ''Business Sunday''. He hosted ''Sydney Extra'', a news-based program for Sydneysiders, in 1992 and later that year was appointed presenter/reporter for ''Nightline (Australian news program), Nightline'', the nightly 30-minute late-night news program seen nationally. Widely regarded as the newsreader with the most credibility and gravitas, Waley worked largely in the studio until 1994 when it was suggested he should report from the field for the ''Sunday'' program. TV Tonight is an Australian-based website which features reviews, news and programming information related to television in Australia as well as OzTAM ratings information. The site was started by television critic David Knox in 2007 after listeners of his radio programs asked him for information they had missed. Knox runs the site, publishing his interviews with Australian media actors, producers, directors and programmers. Knox regularly visits the sets of Australian television series and reviews television programs. Knox also served as television critic for Radio National's breakfast program from 2009 to 2015. Clive Robertson (broadcaster)
Clive Robertson (born 28 December 1945) is an Australian radio and television personality in Sydney who has been heard on both the AM and FM bands for over forty years. Early life Robertson was born in Katoomba, New South Wales, in 1945. He left school at the age of 16 to begin work on a farm (including his beloved "Massey-Harris tractor"), going on to work for his father (a lawyer), later doing court work, and then moving on to become an electrical apprentice as well as running wires for the Postmaster-General's Department. He later worked on the railways cleaning steam locomotives, and also driving them from time to time, which would fuel a lifelong fascination with them. Peter John Overton, (born 5 April 1966) is an Australian television journalist and news presenter. He is currently the presenter for Nine News Sydney from Sunday to Thursday at 6 pm. Early life and family Born in England, Overton moved to Australia at age two after his parents returned home to the country. He grew up in Longueville, a suburb on the Lower North Shore of Sydney. Mark Ferguson (born 22 February 1966) is an Australian news presenter. Ferguson currently presents ''Seven News'' in Sydney on weeknights. He was previously a senior news presenter with '' Nine News Sydney'', presenting the weeknight news bulletin. Career After working with regional stations in New South Wales and Queensland, Ferguson joined the Seven Network in 1989 and reported for a number of ''Seven News'' programs, including ''11AM'' and ''Hinch''. He moved to Sydney in 1991, before moving to the Nine Network in 1992. At Nine he became London correspondent and reported from the UK on a number of major stories including the death of Princess Diana.
