Jim Trakas
James Peter Trakas (born May 5, 1965) is an American politician who served as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 1999 to 2006. He was the Republican nominee for the United States House of Representatives in Ohio's 10th congressional district in 2008. Education Trakas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University in social and behavioral sciences. Career In 1991, Trakas was elected to the Independence City Council where he served two terms. In 1996 Trakas was elected chairman of The Republican Party of Cuyahoga County, serving until 2005. In 1998, Trakas was elected to the Ohio House of Representatives representing the 15th district, later renumbered the 17th district, where he served until 2007. As State Representative Trakas served two terms as House Majority Whip, and was a member of the Finance and Appropriations Committee. Mike Wise (Ohio)
Mike Wise is a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives. He was first elected in 1992 from the 15th Ohio House District. He defeated the Democratic incumbent, Frank Mahnic, Jr. Wise was reelected in 1994 and 1996. The 2008 congressional elections in Ohio were held on November 4, 2008 and determined who will represent the state of Ohio in the United States House of Representatives. The primary election was held on March 4, 2008. Ohio has eighteen seats in the House, apportioned according to the 2000 United States Census. Representatives are elected for two-year terms; those elected in November 2008 served in the 111th Congress from January 4, 2009 until January 3, 2011. The election coincided with the 2008 U.S. presidential election. Phillip Martin Robinson Jr. (born December 28, 1980) is a non-profit executive and American politician who is a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from the 19th district in Cuyahoga County. Joshua Aaron Mandel (born September 27, 1977) is an American far-right politician who served as the 48th treasurer of Ohio from 2011 to 2019. Independence is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. It is a suburb of Cleveland. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 7,133. Independence was originally called Center and was renamed in 1830. Geography Independence is located at . According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and is water. Much of the land area in Independence is used by the intersection of I-480 and I-77. The I-77/I-480 interchange is a four-level stack interchange, but locals often refer to as the cloverleaf, as it largely replaced a nearby interchange of that type.
