Jim Sterk
Jim Sterk (born June 10, 1956) is an American university sports administrator who most recently served as the athletic director at the University of Missouri. He has previously served as athletic director for Portland State, Washington State, and San Diego State. Early life and education Jim Sterk was born on June 10, 1956, in Bellingham, Washington, and was raised in Nooksack, Washington. He received his bachelor's degree in 1980 from Western Washington University, and in 1986 received his master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University. Athletic director Portland State After working in various positions at Maine, Seattle Pacific, and Tulane, Sterk became the athletic director for Portland State. Bellingham ( ) is the most populous city in, and county seat of Whatcom County in the U.S. state of Washington. Marshall Faulk
Marshall William Faulk (born February 26, 1973) is an American former football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest running backs of all time. Faulk played college football at San Diego State, where he was a two-time consensus All-American. He was selected by the Colts as the second overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft; he was with the Colts for five seasons and played the last eight seasons of his career with the Rams. He was a member of the Greatest Show on Turf, a name given to the St. Louis Rams team that appeared in two Super Bowls and won Super Bowl XXXIV. 2015 San Diego State Aztecs Football Team
The 2015 San Diego State Aztecs football team represented San Diego State University in the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Aztecs were led by fifth-year head coach Rocky Long and played their home games at Qualcomm Stadium. They were members of the West Division of the Mountain West Conference. They finished the season 11–3, 8–0 in Mountain West play to become West Division Champions. Hawaii Bowl
The Hawaiʻi Bowl is a college football bowl game that has been played in the Honolulu, Hawaii area since 2002. The game was originally held at Aloha Stadium in Halawa, Hawaii, a suburb of Honolulu, before moving to the Clarence T. C. Ching Athletics Complex in 2022. The bowl is one of the post-season contests run by ESPN Events. Typically played on or near Christmas Eve, the bowl normally features a team from the Mountain West Conference, playing a team from either the American Athletic Conference or Conference USA.
