Jim St. Andre
Jim St. Andre is a retired U.S. soccer goalkeeper. He played professionally in the American Professional Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and Major League Soccer. College St. Andre attended college and played men's soccer at the University of Vermont where over 4 seasons he registered 42 shutouts, 50 wins and a 0.66 career GAA, all school records. He was named to the All-New England list all four seasons with Vermont and was a 1987 third team All-American. He led all NCAA Division I goalkeepers in 1989 with a 0.44 GAA. In 2000, The University of Vermont inducted St Andre into its Athletic Hall of Fame. The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention. Aidan Heaney (born 9 August 1969) is an English retired football player and coach. He played in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 1996 with the New England Revolution. The Los Angeles Salsa was an American soccer team based in Los Angeles that played in the American Professional Soccer League (APSL) and the USISL Pro League. The club played on the campus of California State University, Fullerton at Titan Stadium in Orange County, California, from 1993 to 1994. They also played home games at Weingart Stadium on the campus of East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, California, in 1994 and various high schools in 1995. Tampa Bay Rowdies (1975–1993)
The Tampa Bay Rowdies were an American professional soccer team based in Tampa, Florida, that competed in the original North American Soccer League (NASL) from 1975 to 1984. They enjoyed broad popular support in the Tampa Bay area until the NASL folded in 1984, after which the team played in various minor indoor and outdoor leagues before finally folding on January 31, 1994. The Rowdies played nearly all of their outdoor home games at Tampa Stadium and nearly all of their indoor games at the Bayfront Center Arena in nearby St. Petersburg, Florida.
