Jim Robinson (Neighbours)
Jim Robinson is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Alan Dale. Jim was created by Reg Watson as one of ''Neighbours'' twelve original characters. He made his on-screen debut in the soap's first episode, which was broadcast on 18 March 1985. Jim was the patriarch of the Robinson family. Dale departed the show in 1993 after falling out with the producers over pay and his character was killed off on 29 April 1993. Dale filmed some scenes for the serial in September 2018, which aired on 25 December 2018 and 25 March 2019. Alan Dale
Alan Hugh Dale (born 6 May 1947) is a New Zealand actor. As a child, Dale enjoyed theatre and rugby. After retiring from the sport, he took on a number of occupations, before deciding to become a professional actor at age 27. Dale subsequently moved to Australia, where he played Dr. John Forrest in ''The Young Doctors'' from 1979 to 1982. He later appeared as Jim Robinson in ''Neighbours'', a part he played from 1985 until 1993. He left the series when he fell out with the producers over the pay he and the rest of the cast received. In 2018, it was revealed that Dale would reprise his role as Jim for one episode of ''Neighbours'', 25 years after his last appearance. After leaving ''Neighbours'', Dale found he had become typecast as Jim Robinson in Australia and struggled to find work. His career was revitalised after he relocated to the United States in 2000. Andrew Robinson (Neighbours)
Andrew Robinson is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Jordan Patrick Smith. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 13 November 1991. Shannon Holmes had played the role from the character's birth in 1991 until his departure the following year. Andrew's backstory was subject to retroactive continuity to explain Smith's Scottish accent, and he had his age reduced so that he would be a teenager on his return. Matthew "Matt" Robinson (also Williams) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', played by Ashley Paske. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 22 May 1989. Hilary Robinson
Hilary Robinson is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', played by Anne Scott-Pendlebury. Hannah Martin is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', played by Rebecca Ritters. She made her first on-screen appearance on 20 July 1992.
