Jim McManus (British Actor)
Jim McManus (born 19 May 1940, in Bristol) is a British actor, who has starred in various television, stage and film roles, including ''Tipping the Velvet'', ''Lawless Heart'' and ''Only Fools and Horses''. In the 1970s he appeared in the ''Doctor Who'' serial '' The Invisible Enemy''. He has also starred in the popular television drama ''Heartbeat'' and twice in critically acclaimed drama ''Minder''. He's also been a voice actor in the 1997 TV series '' The Treacle People'' and the 2007 animated film ''Quest for a Heart''. McManus briefly played Aberforth Dumbledore (credited as "Barman") in the fifth Harry Potter film, ''Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix'' in 2007. Bristol () is a city, ceremonial county and unitary authority in England. Matthew Warchus
Matthew Warchus (born 24 October 1966) is a British theatre director, filmmaker, lyricist, and playwright. He has been the Artistic Director of London's The Old Vic since September 2015. Personal life Warchus is married to American actress Lauren Ward, who originated the role of Miss Honey in the Stratford-upon-Avon, London, and Broadway productions of ''Matilda the Musical''. Ward and Warchus met when he directed her in the 2001 revival of ''Follies'' on Broadway. They have three children. Career Warchus attended Selby High School. ''Hugh and I'' is a black-and-white British sitcom that aired from 1962 to 1967. It starred Terry Scott and Hugh Lloyd as two friends who shared lodgings with Terry's mother and was followed by a sequel called ''Hugh and I Spy''. King's Oak
Kings Oak was the fictional village in the television serial ''Crossroads'' which ran on ITV between 1964 and 1988. The show was revived in 2001, the main building being renamed a hotel. In 2003, halfway through the third comeback series, ratings stated to decline, so it was decided to axe the programme for good. The final episode ended on a dream sequence in which one of the characters ''Angel Samson'', played by Jane Asher, had thought up the whole thing. The character was actually working in a supermarket as a checkout operator. The show is sometimes written as King's Oak. Between 1964 and 1970 most of the scenes of the village were actually all recorded inside the Associated Television Studios in Aston, Birmingham. ''Murder by Decree'' is a 1979 mystery thriller film directed by Bob Clark. It features the Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson characters created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who are embroiled in the investigation surrounding the real-life 1888 Whitechapel murders committed by "Jack the Ripper".
