Jim Mahfood
Jim Mahfood (born March 29, 1975), a.k.a. Food One, is an American comic book creator. Apart from his creator-owned comic book series ''Grrl Scouts'' and his comic strip ''Stupid Comics'' (which appears weekly in the ''Phoenix New Times'') he also did work for Marvel Comics on various Spider-Man titles, including ''Ultimate Marvel Team-Up'' and ''Spectacular Spider-Man''. His big break came when Oni Press hired him to illustrate two comic books based on Kevin Smith's movie ''Clerks'' from scripts by Smith, following his work on Marvel Comics ''Generation X Underground Special''. Career At the age of 18 Mahfood attended the Kansas City Art Institute, where he met Mike Huddleston and formed 40 Oz Comics. Gary Wilson (born October 23, 1953) is an American experimental musician and performance artist best known for his 1977 album '' You Think You Really Know Me'', after, he released 3 more recordings: “Midnight Hour/When I Spoke Of Love” and “Forgotten Lovers EP” (1979) “ Invasion Of Privacy” (1980), and “This Is Why I Wear My Wedding Gown” (1983). Shortly after, he promptly retired from recording and kept performing until 1983. He slowly gained a strong cult following during the 1980s and 1990s, and in the early 2000s became active again. Poseur Ink (2003-2013) was a small-press publisher and distro by comic artist Rachel Dukes. Based in San Diego, California the company specialized in independent comics, zines, buttons, and novelty T-shirts. During that time Poseur Ink published collections of Dukes' journal comic "Intentionally Left Blank" and the anthologies "Side A: The Music Lover's Graphic Novel" and "Side B: The Music Lovers Comic Anthology". The Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI) is a private art school in Kansas City, Missouri.
