Jim Littell
James Alan Littell (born September 28, 1955) is a former head coach of the Oklahoma State University women's basketball team. He is currently an assistant coach for the Wichita State. Littell spent 14 seasons as the head coach at Seward County Community College, where he had a record of 418–61 () and recorded nine conference titles. In 2005 he became an assistant coach at Oklahoma State under new coach Kurt Budke. Wichita State Shockers Women's Basketball
The Wichita State Shockers women's basketball team is the NCAA Division I college basketball program representing Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas. The team is a member of the American Athletic Conference, after 43 seasons in the Missouri Valley Conference. History Wichita State began play in 1905. They have played in Division I since 1974. As of the end of the 2015–16 season, they have an all-time record of 556–631. The 2013–14 Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball team will represent Oklahoma State University in the 2013–14 college basketball season. It will be head coach Jim Littell's third season at Oklahoma State. The Cowgirls, were members of the Big 12 Conference and will play their home games at the Gallagher-Iba Arena. 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2021 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 64 teams to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college basketball national champion for the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The 39th edition of the tournament began on March 21, 2021, in sites around San Antonio, Texas, and concluded with the championship game on April 4 at the Alamodome, with the Stanford Cardinal defeating the Arizona Wildcats 54–53 to win their third NCAA title. Due to logistical considerations surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (which resulted in the cancellation of the 2020 tournament), and mirroring a similar decision by the men's tournament, the entire tournament was played in the San Antonio area rather than at sites across the country, with some first and second round games played in nearby San Marcos and Austin. The 2020–21 Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball team represented Oklahoma State University in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Cowgirls, led by tenth year head coach Jim Littell, played their home games at Gallagher-Iba Arena and were members of the Big 12 Conference. They finished the season 19–9, 13–5 in Big 12 play to finish in a tie for second place. As the third seed in the Big 12 Tournament the defeated Oklahoma in the Quarterfinals before losing to West Virginia in the Semifinals. The 2018 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament began on March 16, 2018, and concluded with the national championship game on Sunday, April 1. The Final Four was played at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. 2017 Women's National Invitation Tournament
The 2017 Women's National Invitation Tournament was an annual single-elimination tournament of 64 NCAA Division I teams that were not selected to participate in the 2017 Women's NCAA tournament. The tournament committee announced the 64-team field on March 13, following the selection of the NCAA Tournament field. The tournament began on March 15 and ended on April 1, with the championship game televised on the CBS Sports Network. In the championship game, the Michigan Wolverines defeated the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 89–79, in triple overtime. 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2016 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament was played between March and April 2016, with the Final Four played April 3 & 5. The regional locations were four neutral sites: Bridgeport, Connecticut, Dallas, Lexington, Kentucky, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
