Jim Lang (composer)
James Volker Langknecht (born November 22, 1950), better known as Jim Lang, is an American composer. He is known for scoring the Nickelodeon series ''Hey Arnold!'' (1996–2004), its feature film, '' Hey Arnold!: The Movie'' (2002), and the television film, '' Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie'' (2017), as well as working with series creator Craig Bartlett on his other shows such as ''Dinosaur Train'' and ''Ready Jet Go!''. In 2001, Lang was nominated for an Annie Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement for a Song in an Animated Production for the main title song of ''Lloyd in Space''. In 2004, he received an ASCAP Award for Top TV Series for ''Hey Arnold!'' Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020, making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. ASCAP Award
The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) () is an American not-for-profit performance-rights organization (PRO) that collectively licenses the public performance rights of its members' musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services (music stores). ASCAP collects licensing fees from users of music created by ASCAP members, then distributes them back to its members as royalties. In effect, the arrangement is the product of a compromise: when a song is played, the user does not have to pay the copyright holder directly, nor does the music creator have to bill a radio station for use of a song. In 2021, ASCAP collected over US$1.335 billion in revenue and distributed $1.254 billion in royalties to its members. John Howard Carpenter (born January 16, 1948) is an American filmmaker, actor, and composer.
