Jillian Camarena-Williams
Jillian Mary "Jill" Camarena-Williams (born March 2, 1982) is an American retired track and field athlete who competes in the shot put. She competed at the 2012 and 2008 Beijing Olympics and has represented the United States both indoor and outdoors at World Championship-level. She took back-to-back titles in the shot put at the Pan American Junior Championships in 1999 and 2001. Domestically, she is a two-time USA Outdoor Champion in the shot put, having won in 2006 and 2010. Camarena-Williams set an American indoor record in the shot put to win at the 2011 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships, recording a mark of 19.87 meters to improve upon Ramona Pagel's record which had stood since 1987. Woodland is a city in and the county seat of Yolo County, California, located approximately northwest of Sacramento, California, Sacramento, and is a part of the Sacramento metropolitan area. Ramona Pagel
Ramona Pagel (born Ramona Ebert, November 10, 1961 in Los Angeles) is a retired American shot putter. She made four consecutive Olympic teams, 1984-1996, four IAAF World Championships and won a full set of medals in three showings at the Pan American Games. Her personal best put was 20.18 metres, achieved in June 1988 in San Diego. That mark was the American record for 25 years. The record was tied 23 years later by Jillian Camarena-Williams in 2011 and was finally beaten by Michelle Carter at the 2013 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. 2010 USA Outdoor Track And Field Championships
The 2010 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships were held at Drake Stadium, Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa on June 23–27, 2010.
