Jiang Yanmei
Jiang Yanmei (Simplified Chinese: 江彦媚; born 28 February 1981) is a Chinese-born Singaporean badminton player. She competed at the Badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics, 2004 and Badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2008 Summer Olympics; Badminton at the 2002 Commonwealth Games, 2002 and Badminton at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2006 Commonwealth Games; and also Badminton at the 2006 Asian Games, 2006 Asian Games. Early life Born in Guangdong, China, Jiang moved to Singapore in 1999, and joining the Singapore national badminton team, national squad shortly after under the Foreign Sports Talent Scheme. Career Jiang was part of Singapore women's team that won the gold medal at the Badminton at the 2003 Southeast Asian Games, 2003 SEA Games, and bronze medal at 2006 Asian Games. The Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC) is the National Olympic Committee and National Paralympic Committee for the Republic of Singapore. Liliyana Natsir (born 9 September 1985) is an Indonesian former badminton player who specialized in doubles. She is one of the standout front court player, with dexterousness and skill in controlling and executing the shuttlecock. Natsir has tremendous record over more than two decade by winning a gold and a silver from the Olympic Games, and four gold medals at the BWF World Championships. Salakjit Ponsana
Salakjit Ponsana ( th, สลักจิต พลสนะ; , born 14 February 1984) is a Thai retired badminton player. She competed in the women's singles event at the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympics. Her brother, Boonsak Ponsana is also a Thai olympian. Career Ponsana played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics, defeating Miho Tanaka of Japan in the first round but losing to Gong Ruina of China in the round of 16. In 2008, she was defeated in the second round by Zhang Ning of China with the score 23–21, 17–21, 7–21.
