''Jhoomar'' is a Pakistani Urdu film directed by Syed Noor which was released across theaters in Pakistan on 2 November 2007. The movie has Saima and Moammar Rana in the lead roles. Plot The story revolves around Gulaab Bibi ( Saima), a village belle who falls in love with an army officer Shahnawaz (Moammar Rana) who is posted in her village along the Pakistan-India border. Shahnawaz hails from a well-off wadera family. His family consist of his brothers and sisters in law. They hope to get him married off to the sister, played by actress Aleena, of one of the babhis. They are not pleased when Shahnawaz brings his newlywed bride, Gulaab to the haveli. Trouble starts when Gulaab is found to be apparently barren. Her brother-in-law puts pressure on Shahnawaz to marry Aleena so that the family line can continue. Gulaab is eventually kicked out of the house after being falsely accused of having an affair. Despondent, she goes to commit suicide, but accidentally wanders into India ...

Moammar Rana
Moammar Rana ( Punjabi, ur, ; born February 26, 1974), is a Pakistani actor and film director. He is known for his various Lollywood movie credits, and has also worked on the small screen in Pakistani soap operas and Television Serials. Family Moammar Rana belongs to a cricketing dynasty: his father Shafqat Rana has played some Test matches for Pakistan and also served as national cricket team selector twice, his uncle Azmat Rana (d. 2015) played one Test match, another uncle, Shakoor Rana (d. 2001), was a well-known umpire whose two sons Mansoor and Maqsood played a few ODIs, while yet another uncle, Sultan Rana, played first-class matches before becoming a cricket administrator. Shafqat Cheema is a Pakistani actor and producer. With his career of more than three decades, he is known for playing villain roles and is dubbed as "Pakistan’s favorite villain". Early life Shafqat graduated from the Jamia Naeemia religious school in 1974. He is the son of an Aalim (scholar), and is a Hafiz and Qari of the Quran. Syed Noor
Syed Noor (Punjabi language, Punjabi, ur, ) (born Syed Ghulam Mohyuddin Noor) is a Pakistani film director based in Lahore. In 1970 Syed Noor joined the Pakistani film industry as an assistant to director S. Suleman. Noor assisted S. Suleman for 18 feature films, after which, he penned his first script for the film, "Society Girl" in 1976, which was considered the best film of the year. After the success of his first film, Noor became the prime screenwriting talent in the Pakistani film industry and worked with all the prominent directors of the time. Syed Noor wrote about 250 films from 1976 to 1992. His written scripts and screenplays were both in Urdu and in Punjabi.
