Jharkhand State Cricket Association
Jharkhand State Cricket Association is the governing body of the cricket activities in the Jharkhand state of India and the Jharkhand cricket team. It is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India. History It came in existence in year 2000 and got full membership of BCCI in 2003. Association stands at a historic phase in its history, not only the former captain of the national side Mahendra Singh Dhoni is from Jharkhand but several other players have made their mark on the national stage in the past few years, three of them going on to play for the country. In March 2011, for the first time in the history of the Association, the state team demolished Gujarat in the Finals to win the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a victory symbolic of the ascendancy of Jharkhand cricket. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. One Day International
A One Day International (ODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams with international status, in which each team faces a fixed number of overs, currently 50, with the game lasting up to 9 hours. The Cricket World Cup, generally held every four years, is played in this format. One Day International matches are also called Limited Overs Internationals (LOI), although this generic term may also refer to Twenty20 International matches. Shahbaz Nadeem
Shahbaz Nadeem (born 12 August 1989) is an Indian international cricketer who is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He made his first-class cricket debut in December 2004. He has played for Bihar Under-14 side and Indian U-19s and currently plays for Jharkhand and Lucknow Super Giants. In September 2018, he set a new record for the best bowling figures in a List A cricket match by taking eight wickets for 10 runs against Rajasthan whilst playing for Jharkhand. Varun Raymond Aaron (born 29 October 1989) is an Indian cricketer from Jamshedpur. A right-arm seam bowling, fast bowler, he first played for Jharkhand U-19 followed by Jharkhand Ranji team. He played his first One Day International (ODI) for India national cricket team, India in October 2011 and made his Test cricket, Test debut the following month. Saurabh Sunil Tiwary (born 30 December 1989) is an Indian cricketer who plays as a left-handed middle order batsman. The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup was the tenth Cricket World Cup. It was played in India, Sri Lanka, and for the first time in Bangladesh.
