Jet Set (film)
''Jet Set'' is a 2000 French comedy film, directed by Fabien Onteniente. A sequel, ''People'', was released in 2004. Plot Jimmy (Bruno Solo), desperate to save his suburban bar from bankruptcy, conceives a plan to attract the "jet set", the rich and glamorous celebrities of France. He sends his friend Mike (Samuel Le Bihan), a down-at-the-heels unemployed actor, to infiltrate French high society and garner contacts with prestigious personalities to invite. Hijinks ensue. 2Be3 was a French boy band that was active from 1996 to 2001. History 2Be3 was formed in 1996 and comprised three childhood friends from Longjumeau (a suburb of Paris): Filip Nikolic, Adel Kachermi and Frank Delay. Inspired by English bands like Take That and Worlds Apart, the group produced 3 studio albums and various compilations before disbanding in 2001. The name 2Be3 was a pun on the English language phrases ''to be free'' (in French, "être libre") and ''to be three'' ("être trois"). Hence the band's name was pronounced in English ("Two Be Three") rather than French ("Deux Be Trois"). Valérie Benguigui (8 July 1961 – 2 September 2013) was a French actress and theater director. Born in Oran, Algeria, she took acting courses at the Cours Florent and the National Chaillot Theatre School. Her first film role was in Francis Huster's ''On a volé Charlie Spencer'' (1986). Her most successful television role was in the series ''Avocats et associés'', in which she appeared from 2000 to 2005. She also produced and directed several plays at this time. In 2012, she portrayed Élisabeth in the film '' What's in a Name?'' (''Le Prénom''), which earned her a César Award for Best Supporting Actress, as well as a Molière Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Guillaume Gallienne (born 8 February 1972) is a French actor, screenwriter and film director. He has received two Molière Awards for his stagework and has won two César Awards, one for writing and the other for his performance in his autobiographical comedy film '' Me, Myself and Mum'' (2013). Elli Medeiros (born 18 January 1956) is a Uruguayan-French singer and actress. Career Stinky Toys Originally from Uruguay, Medeiros moved to Paris, France, at the age of 14, dropped out of high school a couple of years later and joined the punk band Stinky Toys.
